1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ScrollLok ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our parental control application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and your child's privacy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

ScrollLok does not collect, transmit, or store:

Your child's name, age, or identity
Which apps your child uses or how long they use them
Device location or GPS data
Browsing history or web activity
Photos, contacts, messages, or any personal files
Audio or video recordings

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers:

Your configured blocking schedules (time windows, days, app lists)
Schedule history and activity logs
App settings and preferences

4. Device Permissions We Use

The App requires the following permissions to function:

Usage Access: To detect which app is currently in the foreground so we can enforce your schedule. This data is processed entirely on-device and never leaves your phone.
Display Over Other Apps: To show the blocking screen when a restricted app is opened during a schedule.
Foreground Service: To keep the monitoring service running in the background while a schedule is active.

5. Subscription and Payment Data

ScrollLok uses Google Play Billing for subscriptions and RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not handle or store your payment card information. Payment is processed entirely by Google. RevenueCat may receive your anonymous app user ID and subscription status. Please refer to:

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We do not currently use any third-party analytics or crash reporting tools that collect personal data.

7. Children's Privacy

ScrollLok is designed for use by parents and guardians to manage their children's device usage. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App does not include any advertising or third-party data collection targeted at children.

8. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings. We recommend using a device PIN or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized access to the App's settings.

9. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App from your device will permanently delete all locally stored schedule and history data. There is no account or server-side data to delete.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
