1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ScrollLok ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ScrollLok is a parental control application that allows parents and guardians to set schedules to block or restrict access to specific apps on Android devices. The App is intended to help families manage screen time responsibly.

3. Subscription and Billing

• ScrollLok offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account settings.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods except where required by law.

4. Permitted Use

You may use ScrollLok only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App to monitor individuals without their knowledge in a manner that violates applicable law
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent the App's features
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent

5. Parental Responsibility

ScrollLok is a tool to assist parents and guardians. We do not guarantee that the App will block all access to restricted content in all circumstances. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children's device usage.

6. Device Permissions

The App requires certain device permissions to function, including Usage Access and Display Over Other Apps. By granting these permissions, you allow the App to monitor foreground app usage solely for the purpose of enforcing your configured schedules. We do not collect or transmit this usage data to our servers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScrollLok and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
